Lifespan Writing Research is a developing research agenda in Writing Studies that aims to move beyond siloed understandings of writing change (e.g., K-12 writing development, first-year writing, workplace writing) and siloed methodological or disciplinary approaches so that we can understand longer trajectories of how writing intersects with people’s lives.
