The Big Idea:
My research bridges systems and ethics, seeking clarity, fairness, and accountability in how we learn, decide, and trust. It values quiet, disciplined improvements that ripple outward with real-world impact.

Research Statement:
My research agenda lies at the intersection of Information Systems, Analytics, and Pedagogical Innovation, with a particular focus on the design, adoption, and instructional integration of emerging technologies such as RFID and Artificial Intelligence. Over the past decade, I have published more than a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles and over 25 refereed conference proceedings, reflecting a sustained engagement with both applied and theoretical issues in technology-enabled learning and organizational systems.

My early research explored adoption dynamics of RFID technologies in the supply chain (e.g., International Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Computer Information Systems), where I developed semantic frameworks and cost-benefit evaluation models. More recently, my scholarly work has expanded to encompass digital transformation in education, including instructional mode efficacy (Information Systems Education Journal), scaffolding systems in analytics education (Journal of Information Systems Education), and AI bias analysis (Journal of Information Technology Case and Application Research). I have also served in editorial capacities for leading journals and chaired research tracks for the AIS SIGDSA, demonstrating leadership within the scholarly community.

These efforts are complemented by ongoing projects examining the ethical implications of generative AI in education and industry, visual scaffolding for statistics instruction, and semantic modeling of AI functionalities, extending my impact into contemporary technological discourse.
