Dr. Kopchick and his interdisciplinary team study growth hormone and its impact on aging, growth, cancer, obesity and diabetes. His team's translational research has resulted in the development of a drug to treat acromegaly (pegvisomant) and the creation of the longest-lived laboratory mouse among other findings.
