Elizabeth Hinkle, SDPT, presented Project Soma study's findings at the 2024 International Association for Yoga Therapists Symposium for Yoga Research. In this study, we showed that interoceptive awareness was positively and moderately correlated with psychological well-being and healthy emotionality. There were no differences found in cortical activity (hemodynamic responses) between two brief mind-body interventions, a guided body scan meditation, and a guided standing yoga practice.
