I am from Kandy, one of the most beautiful cities in Sri Lanka. I did my primary and secondary education at Mahamaya Girl's College, Kandy, and completed my Undergraduate degree at University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. I was specialized in Environment Science with research in Environment Chemistry, focusing on heavy metal adsorption using Nano materials. Currently I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Dr. Chen's Physical Chemistry Research group at Ohio University, where I am interested in studying and conducting research on Perovskites and Quantum Dots.
Also I am a member of CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) where I have completed the Diploma in Management Accounting.
Apart from studies and work I like to spend my leisure time with my family and friends. Also, I like to watch movies and TV series, listening to music, and reading novels etc.
