Joe grew up in Lenhartsville Pennsylvania. He was a Ph.D. student in Physical Chemistry at Ohio University from 2014-2019. He worked on surface chemistry and single-molecule fluorescence for biological applications. Dissertation title "YOYO and POPO Dye Photophysics for Super-Resolution Optical Nanoscopy." His hobbies include PC gaming, watching TV, and playing basketball.
