What Netflix could learn from 'Mississippi Burning' about 'The Laundromat' libel lawsuit

The real-life characters of Netflix’s “The Laundromat” are trying to block the Gary Oldman-Antonio Banderas film about offshore banking, suing for libel. Good luck.  

Past defamation/libel claims against movies — which failed — show that Hollywood has running room to tell stories, especially about topics of public interest.
